$1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold at Philadelphia ShopRite

Middletown, PA — A Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold at a Philadelphia retailer for the October 19 drawing.

The winning ticket, sold at ShopRite, 5597 Tulip St., matched all five white balls—7, 16, 19, 45, and 64—but missed the red Powerball 25. The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners have one year to claim their prize, and lottery officials urge ticket holders to sign the back of their tickets immediately. In addition to the $1 million winner, over 50,800 other PA Lottery Powerball tickets won prizes in this drawing.

The Powerball jackpot for the next drawing is an estimated $456 million, with a cash option of $219.9 million.
