12-year-old boy reported missing in the Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. — A 12-year-old boy was reported missing after leaving his Bronx home on Friday night, and police are currently looking for him.

Laiquon Baker, who resides inside the boundaries of the 49th Precinct at 1260 Burke Avenue, was last seen on Friday at around 6 p.m.

The child had a short haircut and brown eyes, according to the authorities. When last seen, he was dressed in a black sweatsuit with white lettering and black and yellow sneakers. He is around 5 feet 7 inches tall.

Police are currently looking into his disappearance after family members reported him missing when he failed to come home.
