BALTIMORE, Md. — A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized Friday night after being shot in Baltimore’s Western District, police said.
Officers were patrolling near the 1000 block of Poplar Grove Street on November 8t,h around 7:36 p.m., when they heard gunfire. Upon searching the area, they found a teenage male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Detectives from the Western District have taken over the investigation as they work to determine the circumstances of the shooting and identify any suspects involved.
