A Record Year for Chandler Firefighters
Members of the Chandler Fire Department gave birth to 19 infants in all, including 6 boys and 13 girls. Almost ten percent of the department’s 250-person workforce welcomed new hires in the past year.
One of the firefighters added, “With nearly 20 babies being born, that’s almost 10 percent of our department having babies.” This strengthens the sense of camaraderie and pride that these new team members bring to the group.
