26-Year-Old Man Hospitalized After Early Morning Shooting in Baltimore


Baltimore, MD — A 26-year-old man is receiving treatment after being shot in Southern Baltimore early Sunday morning.

On Sunday, around 5:20 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Bookert Drive following reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Preliminary findings indicate the shooting occurred in the 2700 block of Spelman Road by an unidentified suspect. Southern District Shooting detectives are leading the investigation.
