Washington, D.C. Police stated Sunday that a homicide investigation has been opened after a man who was shot Wednesday night in Southeast D.C. passed away from his wounds.
The shooting took place in the 5500 block of B Street Southeast on November 20 at around 7:26 p.m. When Sixth District officers got on the site, they discovered a male adult unconscious and not breathing due to gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and was identified as Christopher Robinson, a 28-year-old resident of Southeast D.C. He passed away on Friday, November 22, from his wounds.
