$50K scratch-off ticket sold in Youngstown

Youngstown, Ohio In Youngstown, a fortunate Ohio Lottery player bought a winning Billion scratch-off ticket and won a $50,000 prize.

The ticket was bought at 3990 Belmont Avenue, Conroy’s North. After statutory 28 percent federal and state tax withholdings, the winner will get about $36,000.

The top prize in the $50 scratch-off game Billion is $1 million annually for 20 years. Along with many other prizes, three of the game’s top prizes are still unclaimed as of January 7.

Since its establishment in 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed almost $33 billion to schools, demonstrating its continued support of education throughout the state.
