Queens, New York.According to authorities, a 60-year-old male was hit in the head during a fight at the intersection of Woodhaven Boulevard and Metropolitan Avenue, causing significant injuries.
The event happened at around 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, when two unidentified people approached the victim and started a verbal fight. Authorities claim that one of the people hit the victim with an unidentified instrument during the altercation, breaking his jaw and skull.
Before the police came, the attackers left the scene and went to an unidentified location. The victim was taken by Emergency Medical Services to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where his status was classified as stable.
Police are still looking into the incident and have not yet made descriptions of the suspects public.
