23-year-old man killed in Fort Washington crash, police say

Maryland’s Fort Washington. According to the Prince George’s County Police Department, a two-vehicle incident at the intersection of Indian Head Highway and Old Fort Road resulted in the death of a 23-year-old male early Friday morning.

Following the collision, the victim, Marcus Willis of Oxon Hill, was taken to a hospital, where he was declared dead not long after.

When police arrived on the scene at 12:00 a.m., they discovered that two cars had been involved in the incident. The other driver and other passengers suffered injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening, while Willis died.

The collision happened at the intersection, and the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is looking into it. The cause of the crash has not yet been established by authorities.
