Man stabbed during daytime robbery in Brooklyn

Brooklyn, New York. According to police, a 45-year-old man was stabbed in the torso late Tuesday morning during a heist on Jefferson Street in Bushwick.

Around 11 a.m., the victim was sitting in his car across from 380 Jefferson Street when the incident happened. According to authorities, an unidentified person went up to the rear of the car and took the victim’s bookbag out.

Following the victim’s confrontation with the offender, a verbal altercation broke out, during which the offender stabbed the guy with a knife. As soon as the attack occurred, the attacker ran north on Jefferson Street.

Private transportation was used to bring the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue. Police verified that his health is stable.

The inquiry is still underway, and no one has been taken into custody.
