Time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee: Water main break shuts down Hudson Terrace

FORT LEE, N.J. The Fort Lee Police Department reports that due to an emergency water main break, Hudson Terrace is closed in both directions from Central Avenue into Edgewater.

Authorities said in a statement issued Sunday morning that Fort Lee patrol officers and emergency utility technicians are on the scene attempting to manage traffic in the impacted area and fix the break.

Since there will likely be major delays due to the closure, drivers are encouraged to look for other routes. When the road will reopen has not been estimated.

Officials are still evaluating the damage and have not yet revealed the reason of the water main break.
