The Disappearance

Discovery of the Missing Woman s Vehicle
When a local citizen noticed Lane-Fournier’s white 1992 Ford F-250 parked along E. Salmon River Road, close to the Green Canyon Way Trail south of Welches, on Saturday, there was a ray of optimism. Clackamas Search and Rescue (CSAR) volunteers were called in by the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office to start searching the region after this finding. According to investigators, Lane-Fournier most likely took her two cherished dogs hiking on the local trails.

Other volunteer teams, such as those from Portland Mountain Rescue (PMR), Mountain Wave Emergency Communications, and Pacific Northwest Search & Rescue (PNWSAR), joined the search as it went on into Sunday. To help with the hunt, two K9 teams were also deployed. On Monday, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office revealed plans to step up the search even more, allocating even more manpower and resources to the effort.
