Man killed in Bronx assault, police investigation ongoing

New York’s BronxA 30-year-old man was fatally assaulted on Saturday night in the Bronx’s Throgs Neck neighborhood, and police are looking into the incident.

According to the NYPD, at around 6:10 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call stating that an assault was taking place at 1022 Throgs Neck Expressway. When they arrived, they found 30-year-old Kristopher Samaroo suffering from physical trauma.

After being sent to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, Samaroo was declared dead by the medical staff.

The investigation is still underway, and police have not made any arrests in relation to the event.
