LANHAM, MD A 27-year-old man was shot and killed in Lanham last Thursday; Prince George’s County Police are looking into the incident.
According to investigators, the victim, Armando Cousins-Stoute, who did not have a known residence, was discovered shot in the parking lot of the 7700 block of Annapolis Road. Cousins-Stoute was declared deceased when officers arrived on the scene for a welfare check at around 11:30 a.m.
Police said in a statement that detectives from the Homicide Unit are aggressively investigating the shooting’s circumstances, including a potential motivation and suspect or suspects.
Information that results in an arrest and indictment in the case could earn up to $25,000. Authorities are asking anyone with pertinent information to call 301-516-2512 to speak with an investigator from the Homicide Unit.
