Bucks County player turns $1 Power Play into a $250K Powerball win.

Middletown, Pennsylvania After buying a Powerball with Power Play ticket in Bucks County for the November 27 drawing, a fortunate Pennsylvania Lottery player is enjoying a $250,000 victory.

The winning ticket, which was offered for sale at GIANT Food Stores on East Logan Street in New Hope, matched the red Powerball (5) and four of the five white balls (1-6-7-13-40). The reward was increased from $50,000 to $250,000 by the Power Play multiplier of five.

A $500 bonus will be given to the store who sells the winning ticket. Noting that prizes must be claimed within a year of the drawing date, Pennsylvania Lottery officials advise winners to sign the back of their tickets and submit claims as soon as possible.

Alongside this noteworthy victory, over 28,900 additional Powerball tickets in Pennsylvania won jackpots, including over 3,600 with Double Play and over 5,800 with Power Play.

With tonight’s drawing, the Powerball jackpot is expected to reach an estimated $224 million.
