Baltimore, Maryland According to Baltimore Police, a 30-year-old man was shot and killed in the Western District early this morning.
At at 3:28 a.m. on December 1, officers were sent to the 2200 block of North Monroe Street in response to a shot-spotter warning. A local hospital called police shortly after to report a walk-in shooting victim who was seeking medical attention.
Officers discovered the victim had been shot in the body when they arrived at the hospital. The individual received medical assistance, but hospital staff declared him dead shortly after.
According to investigators, the shooting happened on North Monroe Street, and the victim was shot there before being driven by a private vehicle to the hospital.
