When her father passed out late last month, the Virginia Beach child acted quickly, calling 911 dispatchers and administering chest compressions. Her father was kept alive until paramedics came thanks to her quick thinking and composed manner.
Vada remained focused and used the CPR procedures she had recently learned, even though she was shocked by the situation and her dog was causing havoc by trying to wake her father. When paramedics arrived, they assisted her in rousing her father and stabilizing him so that he could be taken to the hospital.
