The dog, who was just neutered, is described as a gorgeous guy who is energetic, according to a post from the shelter. The shelter’s staff praised the dog’s amiable disposition and reassured the public that he is secure in their care.
In its post, the shelter urged anyone with information to get in touch with them, saying, “If you are his owner or know his owner, he is safe here at Popcorn Park.”
While personnel try to find his owner, the dog is being kept at the shelter in Forked River. The location and time of the dog’s discovery in Freehold were not disclosed by the shelter.
