Suspect in Custody for Deadly Shooting at Largo Restaurant

LARGO, MDA In relation to the early Saturday morning shooting death of a 33-year-old Upper Marlboro resident outside a Largo restaurant, a man from Washington, D.C., has been taken into custody and charged.

Terrelle Bailey, 35, was recognized as the suspect by the Prince George’s County Police. He is charged with shooting and killing Cornelius McDonald after a fight broke out outside the business on Lottsford Court’s 9600 block.

According to the police, the event happened on November 30 at approximately 12:45 a.m. At the scene, McDonald was declared deceased. The two males, who had never met before, were both customers at the restaurant when they got into a fight that turned into the shooting death, according to investigators.

After using investigative methods to identify Bailey as the culprit, an arrest warrant was issued for him. He is presently being held at the Department of Corrections after being charged with first- and second-degree murder and other connected felonies.
