Four suspects sought in dognapping at Philadelphia Target

A woman’s Shih Tzu was stolen from outside a Target shop in the 24th District late last month, and police are looking for four people connected to the crime.

The 44-year-old victim was shopping inside the Target store at 2701 Castor Avenue on Monday, October 28, 2024, at around 9:00 p.m. The suspects took her dog, a black Shih Tzu with a red tail and a red headlight collar, and left the area before she could get back.

The suspects’ video footage has been made public, and authorities are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying them. In an effort to identify the culprits and locate the stolen pet, investigators are examining CCTV footage.
