Teen carjacking suspects taken into custody after chase in Baltimore

Baltimore, Maryland.The Baltimore Police Department reported that two 16-year-old male suspects were taken into custody Monday morning in relation to an armed carjacking after they fled a stolen car that was being pursued by police.

With the help of Baltimore County Aviation, the Regional Auto Theft Task Force (RATT) was able to locate the carjacked vehicle on December 2 at around 11:30 a.m. The culprits were swiftly caught after escaping the car.

According to authorities, a firearm was found at the site. For processing, the teenagers were taken to Juvenile Booking.


RATT’s continued efforts to curb auto theft and related crimes in the area include the arrests.
