Teaneck road paving continues despite weather challenges, Cedar Lane project progresses

TEANECK, NJ.Despite difficulties caused by rain and low weather, the Teaneck Police Department reported on Wednesday that road paving works in the township have advanced significantly.

The section between Hackensack Avenue and American Legion Drive has been successfully repaved by crews working on the Cedar Lane project, the department announced on social media. Photos of the ongoing work that showcased the progress made despite unfavorable weather conditions were also included in the release.

Police thanked locals and cars for their cooperation and tolerance during the building process and regretted the inconvenience that detours, especially on Grayson Place, had created.

The paving project is a component of a larger infrastructure development initiative that aims to enhance road conditions in strategic township locations. Although there were no specific timetables for the project’s subsequent stages, the update points to more advancements in the days ahead.

As the project progresses, residents are urged to continue to be aware of construction zones and detour routes.
