Harrisburg Police Arrest Suspect in Child Kidnapping and Rape Case

HARRISBURG, PAI. Marr Finley, 32, has been taken into custody by Harrisburg Police in connection with a disturbing case in which a juvenile was abducted and sexually assaulted. On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at around 1:00 p.m., the arrest occurred.

The aforementioned occurrence took place in Harrisburg’s uptown neighborhood on Monday, November 25, 2024. A 12-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped by Finley, who then took her to a house where he allegedly committed several crimes, including rape of a child, unlawful contact with a minor, kidnapping of a minor, and involuntary deviant sexual relations with a minor.


According to police reports, Finley tried to avoid capture by escaping through a second-story window and across nearby roofs. Nevertheless, he was soon captured by law enforcement.

As he awaits his arraignment, Finley is being detained at the Dauphin County Prison.
