Man, 36, Shot and Killed in the Bronx Thursday

New York’s Bronx. According to authorities, a 36-year-old man was shot in the head Thursday afternoon in the Bronx and died as a result.

At at 3:34 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call regarding an assault at 688 East 223rd Street, which is located inside the 47th Precinct. When they arrived, they found the man with a head wound from a gunshot.

The victim was taken by emergency medical professionals to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was declared deceased. Until his family is informed, the man’s identity is being kept secret.

Police stated that the investigation is still ongoing and that no arrests have been made.
