Westfield, New Jersey. As part of a joint Christmas celebration with the Westfield Fire Department, Volunteer Rescue Squad, and Department of Public Works, the Westfield Police Department has announced the return of its well-liked Santa Convoy, which is set for Saturday, December 21.
With sirens and Santa sightings, the convoy will travel through the town’s neighborhoods, bringing festive pleasure to everyone. The south half of town will be covered from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the north side from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Residents can plan their curbside welcomes by using the detailed routes that are accessible online.
To get a candy cane from Santa’s helpers, residents are urged to congregate curbside and listen for the caravan. The convoy cannot pause for pictures at every home or go down dead-end streets, despite the fact that the event aims to cheer up as many homes as possible, according to organizers.
Participants are encouraged to post their photos using the hashtag #SantaConvoy or mention the Westfield Police Department in their images on Facebook and Instagram. During the event, the department’s Facebook page will also provide live tracking of the convoy.
Residents may email [email protected] with inquiries or more details.
Santa Convoy by Westfield promises to revive the Christmas enchantment in the streets.
