Man slashed in face during Queens robbery; suspects flee scene




Queens, New York. According to investigators, a violent robbery in Jackson Heights early on Sunday morning injured a 35-year-old male.

Two unidentified people approached the victim at approximately 3:35 a.m. in front of 99-09 37th Avenue, according to police.

Officials said that when the suspects took a chain off the man’s neck, one of them brandished a gun and stabbed him in the face with a sharp weapon.

According to authorities, the perpetrators ran away west on 37th Avenue toward 99th Street.

After being taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst by emergency medical services, the victim’s condition was classified as stable.

While they look for the suspects, who are still at large, police are looking into the incident.
