Gun-wielding suspects strike across Northeast and Southeast D.C. in robbery spree




Washington, D.C. Early Monday morning, a series of seven robberies and attempted robberies occurred in Northeast and Southeast D.C. Armed suspects who are still at large targeted several victims in less than two hours.

Three armed suspects robbed a victim and took off in a car at 6:01 a.m. in the 600 block of 10th Street, Northeast. The suspects carried out several robberies and attempted robberies within the course of the following ninety minutes, including assaults and robberies at gunpoint at places like Constitution Avenue, East Capitol Street, and 3rd Street and K Street.

One victim was robbed at gunpoint on Burke Street in Southeast, and another was beaten before their possessions were taken on I Street in Northeast. Images of the suspects and their car were taken by surveillance cameras and made public to help identify them.

Investigators are asking anyone with knowledge on the suspects or the car to get in touch. There is a $10,000 incentive for tips that result in arrests and indictments.
