Evesham police thank local pizzeria for supporting Shop with a Cop event

EVESHAM, New Jersey. Sal’s Pizzaworks generously donated fifty pizzas to this year’s Shop with a Cop program, which strives to provide holiday cheer to local children in need, for which the Evesham Township Police Department is grateful.

By matching police officers with kids, the program fosters goodwill between the community and law enforcement while providing the kids with a chance to shop for presents.

The department said in a statement on Friday that the donation made the occasion even more memorable and that the program is about more than simply shopping—it’s about building important connections.

Throughout the holiday season, Shop with a Cop activities are organized all throughout the country to improve relationships between police and the public while bringing happiness to underprivileged families.
