New York’s Hartdale. New York Lottery officials said Thursday that a fortunate Take 5 player who bought the top-prize ticket for the December 4 evening drawing is enjoying a $33,578 victory.
Hartsdale Fuel Corp., situated at 74 S Central Avenue, sold the winning ticket. All five of the numbers selected from a pool of 1 through 39 matched the ticket.
Players can win prizes by matching any two to five numbers in the Take 5 drawings, which are held twice a day at 2:30 and 10:30 p.m.
Lottery officials tell ticket holders to sign the back of their tickets in order to protect their rewards and remind winners that awards must be claimed within a year of the drawing date.
