Randallstown lottery player celebrates $125K windfall

Randallstown, Maryland. In the evening Pick 5 drawing on December 2, a retired Randallstown manufacturing worker struck gold, taking home a total of $125,000 from three tickets he had bought for the same drawing.

Two $1 straight bets and one $0.50 straight bet helped the Baltimore County resident win two $50,000 prizes and one $25,000 prize. The man was shocked to learn that his numbers exactly matched the results when he checked the Lottery app on his phone. When he said, “Wow, I really won it,” I exclaimed.

The fortunate player clarified that he places two $1 straight bets on Mondays and Fridays in addition to his $0.50 straight bet for each Pick 5 drawing. When his numbers, which were based on a relative’s birthday, arrived on a Monday night, his decision to double up paid off.

He intends to use his gains to pay off his automobile and support his kids and grandkids. “I plan to assist my children and grandchildren and utilize the remaining funds to settle my auto loan,” he said.

The winning tickets were bought in Baltimore County at Liberty Wine & Spirits, located on Brenbrook Drive. The Maryland Lottery gave the retailer a $1,250 bonus for selling the three fortunate tickets.
