Off-duty NYPD school crossing guard arrested for first-degree robbery




Brooklyn, New York. According to authorities, a school crossing guard who was not on duty with the New York City Police Department was taken into custody Friday afternoon and accused of first-degree robbery.

According to police, Juhrayjah Wooden, 33, was arrested at around 1:30 p.m. inside Brooklyn’s 77th Precinct.

Wooden, a member of the NYPD, is currently being charged with the incident. Since the investigation is ongoing, specifics of the suspected heist have not been made public.

The NYPD said that its Internal Affairs Bureau is aware of the matter and confirmed the arrest.
