Burlington school crossing guard is fighting for their life after being struck by car in a marked crosswalk

The crossing guard, whose name has not been made public, was hit by a car heading south on Jacksonville Road at approximately 7:20 a.m.

The crossing guard was in a designated crosswalk when the crash occurred, according to authorities. The victim is still in critical condition after being taken to Trenton, New Jersey’s Capital Health Regional Medical Center.
