After leaving voicemails at the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas and the Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach, Florida, in June, Martha Jane Schoenfeld entered a guilty plea in September to making threats against a previous president. She specifically targeted Trump in the conversations when she made false claims that she had planted bombs.
According to court documents, Schoenfeld wrote to the Palm Beach club, “I hope you will get everyone evacuated except for Trump.”
Schoenfeld was sentenced to more than a year in a federal penitentiary prison after U.S. District Judge Raag Singhal, a Trump appointee, rejected the plea deal’s suggestion of probation.
