Stafford, Virginia According to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, a 20-year-old man was taken into custody Thursday night after driving with a revoked license and doing doughnuts in a North Stafford church parking lot.
Around 7:19 p.m., Deputy B.E. Vaughn was called to the Summit Presbyterian Church on Shelton Shop Road after hearing reports of a white Ford Mustang circling the parking area. Later, the deputy found the car on Garrisonville Road and pulled over the driver on Barbara Ann Drive.
The driver’s license had been revoked due to a previous DUI offense, the investigation found. According to authorities, the motorist was arrested and charged with reckless driving and operating a vehicle with a suspended license.
The suspect is being jailed on a $2,000 bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail after being taken there. The incident was claimed to have caused no damage or injuries.
