Shooting reported near Myrtle Beach’s Ocean Boulevard; no injuries confirmed




MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — The Myrtle Beach Police Department said that police responded to reports of a shooting that occurred on Saturday night close to 2nd Avenue South and Ocean Boulevard.

After hearing reports of shooting nearby, officers arrived at the location at around 8:53 p.m. No injuries have been reported thus far, according to authorities.

While the event is being investigated, law enforcement is still present on the scene, and more police officers are anticipated in the area.
