The Forked River shelter posted the announcement on social media on Monday, thanking the locals for their understanding and ongoing support throughout the closure.
The shelter informed the public that it would be CLOSED until further notice due to these [renovations], but that it would continue to provide updates on adoptable animals online to help with adoptions when it reopened.
The charity asked supporters to stay engaged and look forward to providing the animals their everlasting homes as soon as operations restart.
