$37K win brings lottery luck to East Hampton




East Hampton, New York On Friday, December 6, the New York Lottery reported that a Take 5 top-prize ticket valued at $37,400 had been sold in East Hampton for the evening drawing.

Eastend Retail Distributor, located at 148 North Main Street, is where the winning ticket was bought. In the well-known New York Lottery game, the winning ticket matched all five numbers selected from a field of 1 through 39.

Numbers are chosen for the Take 5 drawing twice a day, at 10:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The winners can pick up their rewards within a year of the draw date.

In fiscal year 2023–2024, the New York Lottery, still the biggest and most lucrative lottery in North America, gave $3.8 billion to public schools in New York State.
