Manhattan store sells big winning lottery ticket

Sahana, 36 East 14th Street, is where the lucky ticket was bought. The player won the reward in the lunchtime round of the well-known lottery game when the ticket matched all five of the numbers selected from a field of 1 through 39.

Players have multiple chances to win because Take 5 drawings are done twice a day at 2:30 and 10:30 p.m. According to lottery organizers, winners have up to a year from the drawing date to claim their prizes.
