D.C. shooting suspect caught on surveillance video




Washington, DC On the evening of Thursday, November 28, a man was wounded in a gunshot on Southwest’s Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, and authorities are looking for a culprit.

Following reports of gunfire, Seventh District officers arrived at the 3900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue at around 8:46 p.m. When they arrived, they discovered a victim who had been shot. The man was taken to a hospital by DC Fire and EMS, where he received treatment for non-life-threatening wounds.

In an attempt to identify the person involved, the Metropolitan Police Department published images of the suspect that were taken by a nearby surveillance camera.

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered by the agency for information that results in an arrest and conviction. Police want anyone with information regarding the incident or the suspect to call (202) 727-9099 or text the TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
