Harrisburg police seek suspect in deadly Nectarine Street shooting




Pennsylvania’s Harrisburg.A man who is suspected of shooting and killing another man on Nectarine Street on Sunday night is being sought by authorities.

At before 8:30 p.m. on December 8, Harrisburg Police Department officers were called to the 300 block of Nectarine Street after hearing gunfire. When they arrived, they found a dead adult male who had been shot in the road.

Santiago Gutierrez was swiftly recognized as the alleged shooter after an investigation. According to the police, Gutierrez left the scene right away after the shooting and is currently wanted on suspicion of murder and illegal gun possession.

Information regarding the victim and the events that preceded the shooting has not yet been made public. Authorities are asking anyone with knowledge to come forward as the investigation is still ongoing.
