Columbia, Maryland.A pedestrian was killed in a collision on Cedar Lane on Monday night, and Howard County police are looking into the incident.
At at 5:15 p.m., a 2013 Hyundai Sonata heading north struck a male adult pedestrian who was crossing Cedar Lane close to Holland Court.
After being taken to Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, the pedestrian was declared deceased. His identity has not been made public yet.
The Hyundai’s driver, a male adult as well, was unharmed and stayed at the site. For around two hours, police blocked Cedar Lane at Holland Court in order to carry out their investigation.
