Family Slept While Armed Home Invaders Raided their Monmouth County Home, Stealing Their Porsche




WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J.—Police are looking into a home invasion on River Road early Wednesday morning. According to authorities, three masked suspects entered into a house and took a white Porsche, several car keys, and a revolver.

The Wall Township Police Department reports that the break-in happened at approximately 1:00 a.m. Before escaping in a white SUV and the stolen Porsche, the suspects stayed on the property for around twenty minutes after forcing open a window while the homeowners were asleep.

The Porsche was being driven south toward State Highway 70, while the white SUV was being spotted traveling north on River Road. According to authorities, the Porsche was later seen in Newark at around 2:19 a.m.

In a statement, Wall Township police warned that the individuals are armed and dangerous, and they asked the public to exercise caution and alert.

People who live near River Road have been asked to go over any security camera footage that was taken between midnight and two in the morning that might show the Porsche or a white SUV. It is recommended that anyone with information call Detective Sergeant Christopher Mason at (732) 449-4500, extension 1192.

While the investigation is ongoing, the suspects are still at large.
