Two people were caught after a stolen Ferrari led police on a chase from St. Johns County into Flagler County on Tuesday afternoon.
Cranston, Rhode Island police said 20-year-old Jonathan Costa was one of two suspects who broke into a home with guns on August 24 and demanded keys to a 2018 Ferrari Spider. The stolen Ferrari had something to do with that crime.
Two days later, police chased the Ferrari at high speeds from Rhode Island to Connecticut, but it was able to get away. The New York State police went after it, but it managed to get away again.
Rhode Island Police got arrest warrants for Costa and Logan Slezak, 18, and charged them with breaking into the house and taking the Ferrari.
Costa was caught by officers from Flagler County on Tuesday after another high-speed chase that began on I-95 in St. Johns County and ended at a home in Palm Coast.

As a safety measure, Pedro Menendez High School and Southwoods Elementary School in St. Johns County were locked down for a short time while the car went through the county. Since then, the schools have gone back to normal.
Officer D. Williams of Flagler County says that Costa and someone else in the Ferrari tried to hide the car at a house on Royal Palm Lane. Deputies circled the house and talked Costa and someone else out of it so they could be taken into custody without any problems.
ABC 6 says Costa was arrested at the scene of the crime and Slezak was caught in Rhode Island about an hour later.
Costa is already facing charges in Rhode Island, and now he has a bunch more in Florida.
“At a minimum, we have felony fleeing and eluding, reckless driving and a few other charges as well,” he said.
Williams went on to say that a gun was found in the house.
