The collision happened at the junction of Gage Avenue and Noah Street in Deltona, Florida, on December 19, shortly before 4 p.m.

The 16-year-old youngster was utilizing a crosswalk when he was hit by a black Chevrolet Silverado when he was riding his scooter home from Pine Ridge High School. She was taken into custody and accused of driving with a suspended license and fleeing the scene of an accident involving injuries. On a $3,500 bond, Wright was taken to the Flagler County Jail.
