Washington, D.C. After a shooting in Southeast that injured a man on Sunday morning, police are looking for a suspect who was seen on security footage.
The incident took place in the 2400 block of 15th Place, Southeast, at around 10:18 a.m. on December 1. When police came, they discovered a male adult with gunshot wounds. The person had non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
In an attempt to identify the person, authorities have made the suspect’s photos public after they were captured by nearby security cameras. For additional help, authorities have also posted a video of the suspect online.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the shooting or the suspect to call (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous tips can be texted to 50411. For information that results in an arrest and conviction, there is a reward of up to $10,000.
