Washington, D.C. During a carjacking in the 1500 block of Maryland Avenue, Northeast, on Monday night, a moped rider was assaulted and ejected from his vehicle.
The incident happened about 5:37 p.m. when the suspect, sitting on his motorbike, approached the victim. The suspect grabbed possession of the moped and left the scene following a physical altercation.
As they look for leads, police can use the images that surveillance cameras took of the suspect and the stolen motorcycle.
