Middletown, Pennsylvania Four $1 million top-prize tickets for the New Year’s Millionaire Raffle were sold in Berks, Bucks, and Columbia counties during the Jan. 4 drawing, the Pennsylvania Lottery said Monday.
The winning tickets were bought at Flying J in Frystown, Saz Petroleum LLC in Warminster, CVS in Morrisville, and Millville Food Mart in Millville. They were chosen from a pool of 500,000 sold-out entries. A $5,000 selling incentive will be given to each retailer.
Tickets sold at Weis Markets in Doylestown, Cigarette & Cigar Outlet in Bartonsville, GIANT Food Stores in West York, and Sheetz in Altoona earned each business a $500 bonus, and four more $100,000 prizes were won.
Over the course of the sales period, the Millionaire Raffle issued 16 prizes worth $50,000 through four distinct bonus drawings, 100 $1,000 prizes, 5,892 $100 prizes, and a total of $5,889,200 in rewards.
