Baltimore, Maryland Having won a $50,000 top prize in the Maryland Lottery’s Gold Bar Bingo scratch-off game, a cosmetologist from Baltimore County is eager to retire.

On January 2, the Essex homeowner bought the winning $5 ticket at Crazy Mart, which is situated at 1705 Pennsylvania Avenue in Baltimore. The veteran lottery player, who often wagers on Mega Millions and Powerball, was overjoyed to learn that his scratch-off ticket this time held a huge sum that may change his life.

The thrilled athlete got up, leaped to his feet, and told his loved ones and coworkers about the victory. After 20 years in the cosmetology industry, he intends to use a portion of the award money to enjoy and get ready for his impending retirement.

The Maryland Lottery will give Crazy Mart, the store where the winning ticket was bought, a $500 bonus for selling the $50,000 top prize scratch-off.
