Wall Township water department workers repair overnight water main break in freezing conditions

New Jersey’s Wall Township. Overnight, in subfreezing weather, Wall Township Water Department personnel fixed a water main break on Bedford Corner Lane, according to the Wall Township Police Department.

The area’s water service was urgently restored after the break, which happened late Monday night. Despite the cold, crews labored through the night to finish the repair.

On social media, the Wall Township Police publicly recognized the workers’ actions and expressed gratitude for their commitment to preserving the township’s water supply.

The police department wrote in its post on Tuesday morning, “Thank you for everything you do to keep the water flowing in Wall Township.”

Following the repair, there were no reports of water service interruptions, and there were no reported injuries during the response.
