Fatal stabbing in the Bronx leaves an 18-year-old facing murder charges and a family grieving.

New York’s Bronx.According to authorities, an 18-year-old Bronx resident has been taken into custody and accused in relation to the early Thursday morning stabbing death of a 32-year-old male.

Dionicio Cano-Vicario, 18, of 1541 Selwyn Avenue, is charged with two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, first-degree manslaughter, and second-degree murder.

At at 1:35 a.m., police received a 911 call stating that a man had been stabbed inside the same Selwyn Avenue residence. Officers discovered 32-year-old Florentino Cano-Garcia with a neck stab wound.

Cano-Garcia was taken by emergency medical services to BronxCare Health System Hospital, where he was declared deceased.

Cano-Vicario was arrested at the spot, according to authorities. The inquiry is still under progress.
